About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This seating set, designed by Preben Fabricius for Walter Knoll, exemplifies the refined aesthetic of mid-century modern design. The combination of a two-seater sofa and a matching lounge chair presents a cohesive and highly desirable arrangement for contemporary interiors.
Constructed with a polished steel frame, the set features deep brown leather upholstery that provides a striking contrast to the metallic structure. The clean lines and geometric form are characteristic of Fabricius's approach, blending functionalism with luxurious materials. The leather cushions are designed for comfort, resting within the rigid framework to create a balanced silhouette.
The set remains in good condition, displaying a rich patina that speaks to its history and use. The leather has softened over time, acquiring a characterful finish that enhances its vintage appeal, while the steel frame maintains its structural integrity.
Ideal for a sophisticated living room or a professional lounge area, this Walter Knoll set anchors a space with its authoritative presence. It pairs exceptionally well with other mid-century pieces or serves as a focal point in a more minimalist setting.
