A breathtaking piece of late 19th or early 20th-century European glass art! This antique Bohemian mouth-blown amber glass decanter (carafe) comes with its original matching stopper and one remaining stemmed liqueur cordial glass. The set features exquisite, highly detailed hand-painted "high-enamel" (raised enamel) floral decorations in crisp white and vibrant orange tones, framed by delicate yellow-dotted shield cartouches containing floral motifs. The quality of the enamel work is strongly reminiscent of the prestigious historic workshops of Moser or Fritz Heckert. The bottom of the decanter features a prominent, authentic rough pontil mark, proving its hand-blown, artisanal craftsmanship. Origin: Bohemia (Czech Republic / Central Europe). Era: Circa 1890–1910. Technique: Hand-blown amber glass, hand-painted raised enamel. Decanter Height: 23 cm with the stopper (18 cm without the stopper). Set Includes: 1x Decanter/Carafe, 1x Original matching glass stopper, 1x Stemmed cordial/shot glass. Condition: Excellent antique condition! No chips, cracks, and no repairs to the glass bodies or the stopper. The hand-painted enamel and accents remain remarkably bright and intact for their age.
