Beautiful authentic French Art Nouveau kitchen rack – approx. 1920/1930
Particularly decorative and original French/Belgian kitchen rack made of cast aluminum, presumably dating from around 1920–1930.
The rack is equipped with four original hooks with the beautiful inscriptions:
ESSUIE-MAINS – ASSIETTES – COUTEAUX – VERRES
A beautiful detail for lovers of French brocante, Art Nouveau and authentic kitchen accessories. The rack is not only practical, but above all an atmospheric decorative object. The beautiful organic shapes and the weathered aluminum give it a wonderful authentic look.
Ideal for a rural, French or brocante kitchen, but also very nice in a kitchen, utility room, catering area or as wall decoration.
Period: approx. 1920–1930
Origin: France/Belgium
Material: aluminum
Style: Art Nouveau / vintage French
The rack is in used, authentic condition with visible signs of age (the hooks are loose, but the rack is certainly still functional and does not detract from its appearance) which actually contribute to its charm.
