Private sellerProduct description
This potiche vase with lid is a fine example of the Chinese decorative technique of cloisonné. The object stands out for its complex craftsmanship and its rich floral motif, making it a visually striking piece. Made of metal and enamel, the vase features a cream-yellow base decorated with a stylized cloud pattern. Chrysanthemums and other flowers stand out against this background, finely outlined with metal wires and colored with vibrant enamels in shades of blue, pink, and green. The vase is completed by a coordinated lid and rests on a circular base of dark carved wood. The object is in good general condition, with a patina that testifies to its age and character. The enameled surface is well preserved, maintaining the brilliance of the colors. The carved wooden base, which is an integral part of the piece's aesthetic, is included. Thanks to its timeless elegance, this cloisonné vase is ideal as a decorative element for a console, a sideboard, or a bookshelf. It harmoniously fits into classic, eclectic, or Asian-inspired interiors, adding a touch of refinement and history. Height 25 cm.
