About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This modular sofa is a design by Kurt Beier from the postmodern era of the 1990s. The piece is characterized by its sculptural, organic form and unusual material combination, making it a striking example of the design of that period. The construction consists of a metal frame that supports the generous seating elements upholstered in dark brown leather. The backrests are made of a light, woven rope, which creates an interesting textual and visual contrast to the smooth leather. Designed as a modular system, the individual elements can be flexibly arranged to adapt to various room situations. The sofa is in good condition, consistent with its age and use. Over time, the leather has developed a characteristic patina that highlights the history and character of the furniture piece. The overall structure is solid, and the materials retain their original appeal. With its generous form and unique design, this sofa is suitable as a central element in a spacious living area. It seamlessly integrates into postmodern or eclectic interior styles and serves as an expressive focal point.
