Private sellerProduct description
This postmodern jug originates from the Tarnowiec Glassworks in Poland, dating to the 1970s. The piece exemplifies the era's approach to form, combining a robust, rounded body with a distinctively proportioned handle. Crafted from opaque white glass, the vessel features a smooth, glossy finish that highlights its sculptural silhouette. The design incorporates a clear glass handle, providing a subtle material contrast while maintaining the object's monochromatic palette. The jug's wide base tapers to a defined neck and a practical pouring lip, reflecting the functional considerations of its production period. The piece remains in very good condition, retaining its original finish and structural integrity. The glass shows the characteristic qualities of its manufacturing process, adding to its authenticity as a vintage object. This jug serves as a striking decorative object or functional vessel, well-suited to contemporary or retro-inspired interiors. Its clean lines and neutral colourway allow it to integrate seamlessly into various styling arrangements, whether displayed individually or as part of a curated collection of mid-century glass.
