This is a poster by the Spanish artist Salvador Dalí, one of the most prominent figures of surrealism. The work, titled 'Archangel Fighting the Demon', is a reproduction that reflects the artist's distinctive style from 1969.
The composition is a complex mix of symbolic figures and dreamlike landscapes, executed on paper. Central to it is a female figure in a colorful corset and red boots, holding a shield. The color palette combines vibrant hues such as red, purple, and green with deep black and white areas, creating a dynamic contrast. The poster includes Dalí's printed signature and the year 1969, indicating the historical context of the original work. The whole is framed in a simple, silver-colored metal frame.
The overall condition of the poster is good, retaining the clarity of its colors. The framing has contributed to the protection of the paper over the years. This piece is a representative example of Dalí's later work, in which he combined religious and mythological themes with his unique visual language.
This poster is a striking addition to an interior with an eclectic or modern decor. It can serve as an artistic statement in a living room, study, or hallway and pairs well with both vintage and contemporary furniture.
