Post-Impressionist painting by Carl Schneyder, dating from the early 1900s. Beautiful oil on canvas painting depicting the church in the southern French town of Saint Julien des Chazes, which still exists. It is signed in the lower right corner and bears a label from the Société Artistique de Charenton on the back; the label indicates that this work was once exhibited or registered with this society. The artist's address is Paris (18th arrondissement), near the famous Montmartre artists' district.
