Beautiful portrait of a sweet owl. Title: "Autumn 2" The background color is aqua green. This painting was created quite recently, in 2025. This painting is a continuation of a series of four portraits from the "Autumn" series, and the last one concludes the "Dutch Birds" series; portraits of Dutch birds, created during the coronavirus pandemic. This inspired me to look at nature through a magnifying glass. Magnifying the small! Painted by Britt Kleiberg, 1980, Amersfoort. Studio located in Harderwijk. Britt paints animals from all over the world with a story. During the coronavirus pandemic, she has highlighted Dutch birds! - She graduated in Graphic Design and Styling before finding her calling in contemporary art. Born into a family with a healthy interest in art, she was exposed to art from an early age and began painting at the age of 10. She enjoyed visiting museums and is grateful for the early training she received. It has provided the backdrop for her current journey as a contemporary artist. Positivity, colors, and freedom to move. The use of color is an important part of her artistic vocabulary: "Colors make people happy, and I want to bring joy and positivity into the world. Her color palette can represent an animal's natural environment, a hunt, or an emotion; depending on what she wants to communicate. And however more subdued, the background is also part of this. She uses strange little shapes of color to 'fill' her animals. These represent imaginary continents," she explains, "and can represent the areas where the animal belongs, or where it wants to be.
