Product description
Horse portrait signed TARGA. The work, created with acrylic paint on cardboard, has a raised, textured appearance typical of the 1970s. This artist may have worked for home decor shops or the interior design market. This suggests that Targa may not have been a gallery artist or one extensively documented in "official" art history, but rather a highly prolific creator whose works were intended for an audience seeking high-quality decorative art at that time.
Note the slight halos on the mat at the bottom.
