Private sellerProduct description
This is an impressive porcelain showpiece from the renowned manufacturer Meissen. The piece testifies to exceptional craftsmanship and a rich aesthetic tradition, characterized by its monumental form and detailed decorations.
The object is made of high-quality porcelain and consists of a large bowl on a baluster-shaped stem, resting on an oval base. At the foot of the stem are two allegorical female figures playing musical instruments, a lyre and a lute. The whole is richly decorated with hand-painted floral bouquets, three-dimensional porcelain flowers, and gilded accents. The color palette is dominated by white and cobalt blue, complemented by the soft pastel shades of the flowers and figures.
The condition of the piece is very good, in accordance with its age and the delicate nature of the material. The original colors and gilding have largely been preserved, contributing to its authentic appearance. The piece shows a patina that reflects its story and history.
This monumental Meissen piece is an eye-catcher in any classic or eclectic interior. It comes into its own on a sideboard, a console, or as a central element on a large dining table, where it creates an atmosphere of timeless elegance and artistic refinement.
