A slender silhouette, a design that seems to blossom on the porcelain, and that very particular elegance of Maison Manoï's early creations. This small pitcher belongs to the Ornaments collection, whose floral design is instantly recognizable. Upon the soft ivory-white porcelain unfolds a radiant composition of blue flowers, green foliage, and small red berries. The pattern possesses something of traditional decors freely reinterpreted. Classic enough to stand the test of time, yet singular enough to immediately catch the eye. The form itself is particularly successful. The body rises simply before opening into a widely elongated spout, almost like a corolla. The generous and graceful handle balances the whole and gives the piece a very decorative presence. Underneath the base appears the Maison Manoï stamp, accompanied by the JPB monogram and the mention "Porcelaine véritable" (genuine porcelain). Presented in its deep blue Maison Manoï box, embossed with the house's golden crest, this small model possesses the quality sought after in beautiful table objects. It is never limited to a single function. A pitcher on an elegant table, it readily becomes a small vase on a console or a bedside table.
