Price for lamp including shade and cordless light bulb
This Pop Art accent lamp was crafted from a ceramic vase by Dümler & Breiden from their Studio 71 line. The vase dates from the 1960s/70s and is a typical example of the experimental forms and glazes characteristic of West German pottery.
The lamp base is particularly striking due to its three-dimensional relief decoration and amphora shape. The vase, with its orange, dark brown, and turquoise glaze, is in exceptionally good condition.
Dimensions of the vase: Height: approx. 21 cm, Width: approx. 14 cm
Total height of the lamp: approx. 43 cm
The lampshade was meticulously handwoven. The vertical striped pattern in warm orange, green, and natural tones echoes the colors of the vase and enhances the lamp's overall effect. When switched on, it creates an atmospheric, warm light with an interesting play of light on the wall.
Shade dimensions: Diameter: approx. 20 cm, Height: approx. 20 cm
The vase has been carefully converted into a lamp without any drilling. The conversion is completely reversible, preserving the original condition of the ceramic piece, which is a collector's item. The lamp is weighted with sand inside, ensuring stability. It features a high-quality brass finish and an E27 socket.
Technology – wireless & flexible. The lamp is powered by a rechargeable LED bulb, which can be charged via a USB-C cable. The light lasts up to 12 hours. The bulb can be purchased separately for approximately €12 and is suitable for outdoor use.
Brightness and color temperature can be individually adjusted using the included remote control. Its wireless operation makes the lamp ideal for locations without a direct power outlet – such as balconies, patios, or gardens.
The price of the vase lamp is justified by the vase's collector's value and the elaborate, handcrafted lampshade. It is a unique item.
