With Plia, Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti redefined the folding chair for Anonima Castelli in 1967, bringing it up to date.
Featuring a three-ball joint and made from steel and transparent Cellidor plastic, the Plia folding chair was an instant hit. Since then, it has become an award-winning cult object of Italian design, and a centerpiece of New York's Museum of Modern Art.
Structure in very good condition, no breakage (one small crack in the recessed part, which does not call into question the solidity of the seat, noted for its shape), a few scratches from use, unavoidable on this material.
