The platter was made in the 1970s in Italy.
An elegant Murano artistic platter, 1960s/1970s, made using the technique of hand-forming glass. Its characteristic organic form with wavy edges resembles the shape of an open flower, and the deep shade of olive green enclosed in transparent glass creates an effect of subtle depth and luminosity. The platter perfectly represents Italian modernism and the unique Murano style, in which craftsmanship perfection meets natural lightness and expressiveness of form. Ideal both as a standalone collector's item and as a decorative accent on a table or console.
