Private sellerProduct description
This set of two 19th-century candlesticks by Henniger exemplifies classic European metalwork. The design features a refined, baluster-form stem resting on a tiered circular base, offering a timeless silhouette that reflects the elegance of the era. Crafted from plated brass, the candlesticks present a polished silver-toned finish. The underside of each base bears the stamped maker's mark for Henniger, confirming their origin and production period. The removable bobeches allow for easy cleaning and maintenance, demonstrating thoughtful construction typical of 19th-century decorative arts. The set remains in good condition, displaying a natural patina consistent with age and historical use. The original finish has been preserved, adding character and authenticity to these antique pieces. These candlesticks serve as distinguished accents for a formal dining table, mantelpiece, or console. Their classic form integrates seamlessly into traditional interiors while providing a sophisticated contrast in more contemporary settings.
