This decorative platter, Plat Paöng, was designed by Swedish designer Hjördis Oldfors for the Upsala-Ekeby factory. Created in 1956 and produced until 1958, this piece exemplifies mid-century Scandinavian modernist aesthetics, characterized by organic forms and subtle patterns. Made of glazed ceramic, the platter features a rich, dark brown hue, enhanced by delicate multicolored geometric motifs. The surface is structured by light linear incisions that converge towards the edges, accentuating its oval shape.
