Product description
This is an elegant wooden plant stand, also called a pedestal, executed in the characteristic Art Nouveau style. The design is characterized by the organic, flowing lines typical of this influential art movement from around the turn of the last century.
The stand is made of dark stained oak wood, which gives it a rich and warm appearance. The construction consists of three levels: a square top, a decoratively shaped middle plateau, and a stable square base. The rising uprights show the characteristic 'whiplash' curve of Art Nouveau, which gives the furniture a dynamic and graceful silhouette.
The overall condition of this object is very good, retaining its original finish and structural integrity. The wood shows a subtle patina that testifies to its age and careful use over the years, contributing to the authentic character of the piece.
This plant table is a refined addition to a classic or eclectic interior. It can serve as a stage for a special plant, an art object, or a vase, and adds a touch of historical elegance to a living room, hall, or study.
