Product description
Superb and very graphic cutting board (or
serving platter for cold cuts and fish)
with an organic brutalist design, entirely hand-carved
in the heart of the 1970s / 1980s in Thailand.
This exceptional utilitarian piece stands out for
its monobloc design in high-quality solid teak wood,
renowned for its robustness, high density, and natural
water resistance. The upper side features a stylized
sculpture depicting a fishbone carved into the mass, serving as a
unique architectural juice channel. The basin also has
an incised round cupule to hold sauces or condiments.
The reverse displays a very pure beveled profile
which highlights the flamed grain and the golden and
honeyed nuances of the exotic wood essence. A Mid-Century
Table accessories gem, ideal for bringing a touch of
raw elegance to your meals.
