Private sellerProduct description
Complete dining set consisting of six PK11 chairs and a PK53 table, designed and produced in 1957 by Poul Kjærholm and crafted by E. Kold Christensen.
Special Features
This set is one of Poul Kjærholm's early designs, fully showcasing his distinctive approach to construction and materials. The combination of steel, leather, and wood is typical of his vision of functional elegance and honest use of materials.
This is an early, original production set from 1957, originating from the first owner, who at the time was the Dutch representative for E. Kold Christensen. The chairs and table have always been used together and are part of a carefully maintained private collection. This provenance underscores the authenticity, coherence, and historical context of the ensemble. Early productions from this period did not yet feature the logo in the steel, so this set does not bear a visible logo.

Complete dining set consisting of six PK11 chairs and one PK53 table, designed and produced in 1957 by Poul Kjærholm and manufactured by E. Kold Christensen.
This is an early original production from 1957, coming from the first owner, who at the time was the Dutch representative of E. Kold Christensen. The chairs and table have always been used together and originate from a carefully maintained private collection. This provenance strongly supports the authenticity, coherence and historical significance of the set.
The PK11 chairs feature a slender steel frame combined with a leather seat and a wooden backrest. The leather has been professionally reupholstered, respecting the original character of the design. The PK53 table combines a steel base with a wood veneer top.
Please note that early productions from this period did not yet carry a stamped logo in the steel, which explains the absence of a visible maker's mark on this set.
The set is offered exclusively as a complete ensemble. Separate sale is not possible.
