This is the Pistillino lamp, an iconic design by the Italian manufacturer Valenti Luce. The piece is a classic from the Space Age era and was originally designed in 1969 by Studio Tetrarch, inspired by the pistil of a flower. This versatile lamp can be used as both a wall lamp or a ceiling lamp. The structure consists of chromed plastic, with a central core from which multiple arms with spherical ends emerge. This construction reflects the light in a playful way, creating a unique lighting effect. This specific example was produced in Italy for Habitat and requires an E14 light source. The lamp is in excellent, almost unused condition, which is exceptional for a piece of this type. The chromed finish is bright and without visible imperfections.
