Pink Murano Glass Bottle with blue stopper by Alberto Ricci for De Majo in 1992, Ø 8 cm, h 26 cm. Alberto Ricci is an Italian designer associated with the artistic production of the historic De Majo glassworks in Murano, with which he collaborated in the 1990s. His research explores the plastic and chromatic qualities of blown glass, giving life to vases, bottles, and objects characterized by essential forms and a refined use of color. Among his productions for De Majo is the Corunas series, created in the early 1990s. Ricci's works bear witness to a particularly vibrant phase in De Majo's production, in which the Muranese craft tradition opened up to the language of contemporary design through collaboration with international artists and designers.
