Piet Hein Eek XL design pendant lamp, Dutch Design classic - Unique early work!!
Originating from the former Bisschop Bekkers Lyceum in Eindhoven. Piet Hein Eek furnished this school with his furniture, including this lamp. It was his early period, and he adapted his designs based on customer feedback. All lamps were specially made for the school - it is unique work.
Design pendant lamp with an industrial look, made of galvanized metal with an on/off switch on the side.
PLEASE NOTE:
This concerns an empty "lampshade".
To be filled by yourself with, for example, the oh-so-exemplary LED. The insert, non-functional, is partially present, for 2 fluorescent fixtures to show that these were mounted at 4 points.
The bottom section, where frosted glass was located, is missing but can be replaced with plastic or glass. These glass plates were lying loosely inside.
Further condition:
The galvanized metal parts are in very good condition. Normal signs of wear related to age.
Comes with 2 metal rods that can be removed using Allen bolts, through which the power supply runs on one side.
The suspension:
Each rod is fitted with a round 'bushing' at the top, which clamps over the suspension rods using a small Allen bolt. These were suspended from a false ceiling, hence the need for this. The rest of the suspension is available from PHE upon inquiry and can therefore be provided independently.
Dimensions:
262 L x 13.5 W x 16 H, (additionally: the bushing is 4 cm high // and the suspension rods are approximately 180 cm)
