About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This coffee table is a design by the French designer Pierre Vandel from the 1970s, made of metal and glass. The piece is a characteristic example of the Hollywood Regency style, known for its luxurious materials and elegant silhouettes.
The construction consists of a rectangular, brass-colored metal frame that supports two levels of clear glass. Striking cylindrical legs made of fluted aluminum with brass accents at the ends and in the middle give the table its distinctive aesthetic. A plaque with the inscription “Pierre Vandel Paris” confirms the origin of this vintage furniture piece.
The table is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The metal surfaces show an authentic patina that emphasizes the character and history of the object. The glass plates are intact and preserve the light and open appearance of the design.
With its two-tier storage surface, this coffee table offers both functionality and a sophisticated look. It blends seamlessly into classic, eclectic, or modern interiors and serves as an elegant centerpiece in a living area.
