Product description
Here is an iconic design piece by French designer Pierre Paulin. This is the F598 model, better known as the "Groovy" or "M Chair" armchair, a 70s design icon.
The armchair is built on an internal steel tube structure, covered with foam and fully upholstered in a textured 70s orange fabric. Its sinuous and continuous silhouette rests on aluminum base profiles that follow the curves of the design and the body. Designed in 1972, this model perfectly illustrates the aesthetic of the Space Age era with its organic forms and playful look.
This armchair retains its original upholstery and is in excellent overall condition, showing particular care over the decades. It is a characterful piece that has gracefully stood the test of time.
