Product description
This vintage chair is a design by Pierre Lottier, produced by Valentine in Spain. The piece combines a robust wooden frame with a characteristic seat and backrest made of woven leather, creating a striking and timeless silhouette.
The chair is crafted from solid wood and dark brown leather, with the wide leather straps carefully woven and attached to the frame with decorative nails. The design reflects the artisanal traditions of Spanish furniture making from the mid-twentieth century. The warm brown tones of both the wood and the leather contribute to the piece's authentic appearance.
The furniture is in good condition commensurate with its age and use. Over the years, the leather has developed a natural patina, which enhances the chair's character. The construction is sturdy, and the original 'Made in Spain' mark is visible on the frame.
This chair comes into its own perfectly in an eclectic or rustic interior. It is a characterful piece of furniture that adds warmth and texture to a reading nook, living room, or study. In the Netherlands and Belgium, the armchair can be delivered for a mileage fee.
