Turquoise glazed ceramic pitcher with cobalt blue and green highlights, rare domed shape, incised geometric relief decoration characteristic of the Rimini Blu series, designed by Aldo Londi for the Bitossi factory, Italy, 1960s.
Its rare compact and domed form, less common than the more elongated shapes, enhances the sculptural character of the piece.
Stamped Bitossi + Italy + crest in relief under the base.
Beautiful glossy glaze, original firing cracks.
