About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Philips Table lamp. It features a round, flat shade and base in matte dark green metal, with a brass stem. The bulb is exposed and directs light upwards, reflecting off the inside of the shade. Slight traces of use. Superb modernist table lamp model "Timor" (Model 69), created by designer Louis Kalff for Philips in the 1950s.
This example features the magnificent and highly sought-after Forest Green / Fir Green finish, subtly combined with a polished golden brass stem. Its sleek and geometric mushroom-shaped silhouette makes it a centerpiece of post-war design.
• Condition: Very good overall condition for its age. The brass is shiny and clean (no verdigris). The smooth aluminum shade has retained its superb original patina, without deformation.
• Electrics: In perfect working order, push-button switch on the base. E27 socket.
• Dimensions: Height approx. 50 cm | Shade diameter approx. 40 cm.
An authentic and timeless piece for lovers of 50s/60s vintage furniture. Professional packaging guaranteed for shipping.
