Product description
This Philips Decora table lamp, designed by Louis Kalff in the 1950s, is an iconic piece of mid-century modern design. The lamp stands out due to its distinctive UFO-shaped shade and the elegant, asymmetrical brass stand that gives the whole piece a floating character.
The lamp is crafted from a combination of black lacquered metal and brass, creating a beautiful contrast. The shade features subtle perforations along the edge, creating a playful light effect when the lamp is lit. The original Philips marking is visible on the brass detail on top of the shade.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, befitting its age. The brass has developed an authentic patina and the original finish has been preserved, contributing to the character of this historic design. The shade is in fine condition. No dents and minimal scratches. The fixture is fitted with a matching mirrored bulb.
The timeless design and warm appearance make it a subtle eye-catcher in any room.
