The Philips Infraphil KL2901 is an Infrared heat lamp, hence the red bulb, for therapeutic light therapy / to relieve medical complaints. Designed in the 1950s by Charlotte Perriand for Philips.
Particularly beautiful design thanks to the stand which is also a handle and the fitting with vanes (bakelite as well as the handle). Dutch design.
This lamp is called the "paperclip " model due to its distinct shape.
The original 3-pin bayonet fitting has been modified into a "normal" E27 fitting, a screw base. This allows the use of a "normal" E27 screw bulb with a long neck. 1x screw bulb is included. See photo.
Minimal discoloration and barely visible signs of use.
