This beautiful table lamp, designed by the iconic Charlotte Perriand for Philips in the 1940s, is a stunning example of Mid-Century Modern design. It featured a round handle that allowed the lamp to be adjusted in angle. The handle was chrome-plated. The blown glass lamp did not have a red filter, making it necessary to wear safety glasses. The Infraphil 7525 is the first Infraphil model and dates from 1946 or 1947. The Infraphil 7525 features an adjustable, circular, chrome-plated bracket for aiming the lamp. The lamp does not yet have a red filter, requiring eye protection. The base and lamp housing are both made of lacquered sheet aluminum.
