Product description
This is a vintage Desk lamps by Philips, model NB 100, a characteristic design from the mid-twentieth century. The piece is defined by its sculptural metal frame and the dome-shaped shade, which together create an iconic silhouette from the Space Age era.
The lamp is crafted with a black lacquered metal base that forms an elegant, crossed structure. The hemispherical shade is finished in an off-white color with a subtle texture, providing diffuse and pleasant light distribution. The original wiring and switch contribute to the authentic appearance of this Dutch design object.
The overall condition of the lamp is good, in accordance with its age and previous use. It shows a characteristic patina that emphasizes the history and authenticity of the object. The lamp is fully functional and retains its original aesthetic qualities.
This Philips NB 100 is a stylish addition to a desk, dresser, or bedside table. The design seamlessly fits into an interior with a preference for Mid-Century Modern, vintage, or Dutch Design, where it can serve as both a functional light source and a decorative accent.
