Product description
This is the Bubu 1er, a multifunctional object designed by French designer Philippe Starck for the manufacturer XO. The piece is an iconic example of Starck's playful and democratic approach to design, intended as a versatile piece of furniture that can serve as a stool, side table, or storage object. The Bubu 1er is made from a single piece of polypropylene, a durable and lightweight plastic, and finished in an anthracite grey color. With a height of 44 cm and a diameter of 33 cm, it has a compact size. The design is recognizable by its crown-like shape with three legs and a removable lid that provides access to a surprisingly spacious internal storage compartment. This item is marked on the underside, confirming its authenticity. The overall condition of the object is good, with a preserved structure and color. The piece shows character consistent with previous use but retains its functional and aesthetic integrity. The Bubu 1er is a classic in postmodern design and is appreciated for its humorous and functional character. Thanks to its versatility and robust material, this design fits into various interiors, from a minimalist living room to a children's room or a creative office space. It can serve as an extra seat, a convenient storage unit for small items, or a sculptural accent.
