Product description
Vintage lamp by Philippe Jean. Circa 1970.
A magnificent example of Brutalist design. Very decorative.
The rectangular base is entirely covered in black melamine and chromed metal plates forming inverted U shapes. In very good condition except for a few scratches on the metal.
The original lampshade is made of white rice fabric and features a chromed metal corner trim (three others are missing). The lampshade is damaged (a tear on one side) but can be used as a template to recreate it. A similar one can be found in large stores.
Base dimensions: W: 17.5 x D: 10 x H: 36 cm (lampshade included).
Lampshade dimensions: 37 x 31 x 27 cm.
Total height: 63 cm (including the lampshade).
Sold due to renovation and redecoration.
