An expressive plastic chair based on a design by Verner Panton, manufactured by Densa Basel in 1999. Its sculptural, organically curved form is reminiscent of Panton's visionary seating landscapes and experimental plastic designs of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Characteristic is the flowing silhouette with softly modeled transitions, which makes the chair appear almost like a freestanding Pop Art object. Made of rotationally molded plastic in a vibrant orange, the chair combines functional seating with a futuristic spatial sculpture. The design is particularly striking due to its monolithic appearance and the highly reduced, almost biomorphic form. The manufacturer's mark "Densa Basel" and Verner Panton's embossed signature are located on the underside.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-related wear, scratches, and minor pressure marks on the plastic. Some abrasion and minor stress points are present at the molded joints.
