About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This striking Hip Hop armchair is a design by Dutch designer Peter van Zoetendaal. The piece of furniture immediately stands out due to its distinctive, geometric silhouette and bold use of color reminiscent of the Memphis style.
The armchair is fully upholstered in leather in a vibrant combination of red, blue, and yellow, finished with contrasting black piping that emphasizes the clean lines. The structure rests on subtle, dark wooden legs. The design combines a firm seat with a playful, architectural form typical of postmodern design from the late twentieth century.
The leather is in good condition with an authentic patina befitting its age and use. The colors remain vibrant, and the construction is sturdy and fully functional.
This is a true statement piece that fits perfectly in an eclectic interior, a creative studio, or as a colorful accent in a sleek, modern living room. The furniture combines effortlessly with both vintage and contemporary design pieces.
