PETER DIEM (Coburg 1945) was educated at the Graphic Lyceum in Amsterdam. Has lived and worked successively in Switzerland, America and since 1993 in the Netherlands. He is strongly inspired by the COBRA group and paints abstractly and expressively. He also collects primitive art from Africa and Central and South America. He is best known for his cow paintings. Diem has exhibited in Cologne, New York and Moscow, among others.
