Vintage antique rug no. 1688
A very beautiful and durable Persian rug, decorated on a warp and backing of cotton and wool pile. It can last for many years. When the Persian rug loses some of its pile due to wear and tear, its main motifs and decorations take on a beautiful and special combination. Now this Persian rug is a very good candidate to become a modern rug, a rebirth and a new design called vintage. After washing and smoothing the surface of the rug from its piles, the Persian rug is smoothed, prepared all around and decorated. Now the vintage Persian rug can be reused for many years.
This rug is over 100 years old, and part of it has been lost, which we were able to restore with handmade kilims.
