Product description
Period ceiling lantern / solid bronze ceiling lamp with a glass shade, manufactured in Spain circa 1950 - 1960. Classical design influenced by Louis XVI and Regency styles. It is essential to highlight the top crown decorated with vegetal motifs and the solomonic columns adorned with anthropomorphic figures that bring mysticism and great artistic value to the piece.
It stands out for its round glass globe (globe format) made of hand-blown artisanal glass in a single piece, completely free of seams. Its surface is decorated with a geometric grid pattern with intersecting vertical and horizontal lines, meticulously hand-cut using acid and lathe techniques. This type of traditional artisanal glassware is no longer manufactured today, making this lantern an exceptional piece of high interest for collectors.

Very good condition. The piece is fully functional, and the metal structure is firm and solid. The glass shows no cracks, fractures, or hairlines. It is only worth noting a small aesthetic touch or chip on the edge of the glass, which has been photographed in detail and marked in Photo 13. This detail is purely visual, remains partially hidden by the bronze structure itself when the piece is assembled, and does not affect the stability or safety of the lantern at all. AUTHENTICITY NOTE: The piece lacks a visible maker's signature or foundry stamp, a common practice in artisanal pieces from the mid-20th century. Its cataloguing and attribution are based on the analysis of its assembly method by tabs, the engraving of the glass shade, and the excellent quality and original patina of the metal.
