About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Brand/Designer: Percival Lafer
Model: Billie
Type: Recliner / Recliner Armchair
Material: Black Cowhide Leather & Shiny Grey Tubular Frame
Condition: Good condition (with minor traces / mechanical point of attention)
Beautiful, original Percival Lafer 'Billie' design recliner armchair in magnificent cowhide leather.
Are you looking for a unique Brazilian design icon? This original Lafer Billie recliner is a fantastic eye-catcher with a wonderfully comfortable seat and a timeless, streamlined chrome frame.
Origin:
The chair was obtained from my father's inheritance. Although it is a beautiful, top-quality design piece, the style unfortunately does not fit my own interior. Therefore, I would like to make another enthusiast happy with it.
Condition of the chair:
The leather: The upholstery of supple black cowhide leather is in absolute top condition. No wear, tears, or bald spots anywhere — the armrests are also completely flawless and beautifully maintained.
The frame: The shiny grey metallic tubular frame is sleek, neat, and has that characteristic, stylish vintage look.
Point of attention:
The chair is externally in fantastic condition. Presumably, an internal spring/mechanism on the left side came loose during the move, which means the backrest on that side currently does not click into the lock. For a handy enthusiast or restorer, this can be excellent to check and fix.
A unique opportunity to acquire a high-quality design classic whose leather is in a rarely beautiful condition!
