About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
We present the ergonomic Peel Armchair with matching ottoman, a project by Norwegian designer Olav Eldøy for Variér, originally produced by Stokke. This set stands out for its sculptural and organic silhouette, inspired by the shape and function of an orange peel, offering a protective and comfortable shell.
the headrest extension mechanism is jerky, signs of age.
The Armchair is upholstered in a vibrant orange fabric, which accentuates its fluid curves. The structure rests on a circular base of light wood, while the 360-degree tilt and swivel mechanism is made of metal. This system allows the chair to follow the body's natural movements, offering optimal support in various sitting positions. The set includes a coordinated ottoman, designed to complete the relaxation experience.
This iconic piece of Scandinavian design was conceived to combine aesthetics and well-being. Its enveloping shape and advanced functionality make it a distinctive addition to any environment, from a modern living room to a study or reading nook. The Peel Armchair is not just a piece of furniture, but an invitation to comfort and movement.
