Private sellerProduct description
This is a ceramic figurine of a peacock, manufactured by the Swedish maker Nittsjö Keramik. The piece is a characteristic example of mid-century Scandinavian ceramics, recognizable by its stylized form and decorative glaze.
The figurine is made of earthenware and finished with a combination of matte and glossy glaze. The color palette consists of earthy terracotta tones, deep blue in the tail feathers, and a speckled brown glaze on the body, accented with white line details. The underside is marked with "Nittsjö Sweden" and the model number 5167, confirming its authenticity and origin.
The overall condition of the object is excellent, retaining its original finish and vibrant colors. It exhibits the character and texture typical of handmade studio ceramics from this period. There are no visible damages or restorations.
This Decorative Objects is a charming addition to a sideboard, bookshelf, or display cabinet. It fits well within an interior with a fondness for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian design, or collectible ceramics.
