Product description
One of a kind coffee table made of a slate slate table top supported by 2 black lacquered metal L-profiles. There’s an inlay of various gem stones in different colors and shapes and copper pieces. This particular one (all of Paul Kingma’s pieces are unique, there’s never an identical other one) has beautiful warm autumn colors. I want to stress that this piece is not a copy -there are many signed differently, like German “design”, or “made for Kneipp”. These have nothing to do with Paul Kingma. Even the tables signed with “M. Kingma are in my opinion not the real ones; that is his son who in the end took over the business of his father. This piece is the real deal: an early (1973) piece, signed in a copper inlay by the master Paul himself. This is a wonderful piece of brutalist art which is functional at the same time.
