Paul Ambille (1930–2010) was a French painter and lithographer, born in Béziers.
Winner of the Grand Prix de Rome in 1955, he resided at the Villa Medici and then became an official painter of the French Navy in 1993.
His career was marked by numerous awards and a presidency of the Taylor Foundation. Ambille is known for his luminous figurative art, his seascapes and urban landscapes, whose magic lies in bold colors and delicately rendered forms.
