ABOUT THIS DESIGN
The Pastoe Vision, designed by the renowned designer duo Pierre Mazairac and Karel Boonzaaijer for the Dutch furniture manufacturer Pastoe, is the ultimate embodiment of minimalist architecture and handleless design. The furniture is known for its philosophy of 'the cabinet as a composition in space'. This asymmetrical wall composition consists of separate, tightly fitting modules with mitered edges, minimizing seams and making the cabinet float on the wall as a sculptural whole.
The combination of subtle taupe and grey tones gives the composition a refined, timeless look. In terms of layout, this Pastoe Vision offers very versatile storage space: various handleless cabinet doors with adjustable shelves, a flap door with an advanced delay mechanism, an open compartment for decorative objects, and a drawer with a stylish wooden interior. A high-quality piece of iconic Dutch Design that fits perfectly into a modern, sleek, and spacious interior.
