About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This armchair, designed by Radboud van Beeckum for Pastoe, is a prime example of Dutch Design. The minimalist design combines clean lines with a robust appearance, resulting in a timeless piece of furniture that immediately catches the eye. The chair is crafted with a black metal frame that provides a sturdy base for the black leather seat and backrest. The construction displays a geometric approach, typical of Van Beeckum's design language. The combination of metal and leather creates an industrial yet refined character. The piece is in good condition and shows characteristic signs of use consistent with its age. The leather has developed a beautiful patina, contributing to the chair's authentic look. This armchair comes into its own perfectly in a modern or industrial interior. It makes a powerful statement in a living room or study and pairs well with other minimalist or vintage design pieces.
