This vintage Pastoe NA05 sofa is a special and honest piece of Dutch design.
Designed by Cees Braakman in the early 1950s, when Pastoe was still operating under the name UMS Pastoe, this model is part of the famous Birch series – beloved for its simple forms and clever use of curved plywood.
The NA05 has a light, open appearance that ensures it fits into almost any interior without looking massive. The design is shown to its best advantage when the sofa is given space.
Moreover, this particular example still features its original blue-green upholstery and comes with the delivery note from the 1950s – a special detail that underscores its authenticity. The mentioned signs of wear are minimal
