Product description
A vintage Magazine rack and side table by the Dutch manufacturer Pastoe, made of rosewood. This multifunctional piece of furniture is a characteristic example of post-war Dutch design, where functionality and aesthetics come together in a compact and elegant design.
The construction combines the rich, dark grain of rosewood with a chrome-plated metal frame. The design consists of a V-shaped holder for magazines or books, with a floating tabletop above it supported by slender metal tubes. This combination of materials is typical of the Mid-Century Modern era.
The furniture is in good vintage condition, with a character that testifies to its history. The original finish of the wood has been preserved and the construction is sturdy and stable.
Thanks to its compact size, this side table is ideal for placement next to an armchair or sofa in a living room. It fits seamlessly into both vintage and modern interiors and offers a stylish solution for storing reading material.
