2 armchairs designed by Radboud van Beekum for Pastoe, Utrecht
Black leather seat with a black lacquered metal frame. Cubist design.
The chairs are inspired by the chairs of Gerrit Rietveld.
The chair had won the prize for best furniture design at the 1980 Triennale in Poznan.
And later became a real Dutch Design Style classic.
There are a few signs of use, see the photo.
These armchairs have been donated. The proceeds from these armchairs go to Terre des Hommes projects.
Both armchairs show some signs of wear. The leather is somewhat discolored and there are some rust spots on the metal.
