Pastoe Amsterdammer cabinet
This 'Amsterdammer' cabinet was designed by Aldo van den Nieuwelaar for Pastoe in 1978. The cabinet is immediately recognizable by its ribbed plastic roller door that disappears into the back of the cabinet.
The cabinet is made of black lacquered MDF with a contrasting red plastic roller door. Thanks to the removable dividers and the pull-out worktop, the cabinet can also serve as a compact desk.
The roller door has some small tears but works well. A few white dots are visible in the black lacquer.
